Confectionery company Balconi was established in Milan in 1950.
Thanks to the high quality of its delicious products, the reputation of the family business grew quickly, initially throughout Italy and then in many European markets and worldwide.
Over five decades of business, Balconi has grown constantly, building on its tradition as a confectionery company specialising in the production of sponge cakes. The commercial and production strategy pursued over the years has resulted in a high level of specialisation and automation, which translates into the highest quality products.

We specialise in the production of sponge based cake and confectionery products.
Drawing on traditional recipes and natural ingredients, research at our analysis and testing laboratories is used to continuously improve our products constantly. Our sponge products can be divided into three categories: snacks, cakes and Swiss rolls.

Chocolate Trancetto: A soft two-colour sponge slice with delicious low-fat chocolate filling.
Apricot Trancetto: A soft sponge slice with apricot cream filling.
Strawberry Trancetto: A soft sponge slice with strawberry and yoghurt cream filling.

Tiramisù

A classic Italian sponge cake dessert with mascarpone cheese and coffee cream filling, dusted with cocoa powder.

Lemon cake

An elegant three-layer sponge cake with lemon cream filling and topped with white chocolate flakes.

Choco Dessert

A delicious chocolate sponge cake with low-fat chocolate filling and coating, decorated with flakes of white and milk chocolate. 500 grams of 100% chocolate taste!

Torta Paradiso
